A Twisted Tale

It was a twisted tale to be sure, as the demented newly crowned queen sat upon her throne. She had been courted by the young king and pulled out all the stops, charming the man into a betrothal. And upon their wedding night, she locked him into a cage, a warning to others who said something wrong to her.With the butterflies surrounding her, you would never guess there was dark side within.

Lillith's Den created a couple of great hunt items as well. The Twisted Summer 2017 Cubes Pillar and the magical Illumination Arch which comes with 4 sizes to choose from. Also in the Twisted Summer Sale & hunt is the great wall art behind me. Moonlight Cat Creations created these and they have such a good message to them. Be The Creator of Your Own Fairy Tales. Gothic Desires  created the deep purple FairyTale Throne with PG animations for you to enjoy. This is another of the hunt prizes at the event. Also, yet another hunt item is on the walls behind me. The  texture Thorn 001 comes from the pack of Twisted Fairytale Special textures by Clever Fox Designs.

 

  Dixie Dandelion has an adorable hunt prize for the Twisted Summer Sale & hunt, as well. The Silhouette Chair Cat Spring Flowers. This kitty is simply sitting back, grooming herself while all the chaos is happening.

 Baba Yaga's Teapot sits next to the throne, providing a potion of who knows what. This is also another of the Twisted Summer Sale & hunt prizes and was created by Kittycats Creations

From Beyond the Dark, we have the lovely item called, Within the mirror lies truth: Sometimes fairytales come true. It features a smoky mirror, light floor with petals and poison in the chalice. It is one of the many raffle items at the Twisted Summer Sale & hunt. Proceeds go to Relay for Life. This would be a great addition to any home.

Also from Beyond the Dark and at the Twisted Summer Sale & hunt, is this great altar called What fairytales forgot to mention: His broken word. This is one of 13 that can be won at the gacha area. The collection has 9 commons, 1 rare, 1 ultrarare, and 1 uncommon. This particular item is the ultra rare in the collection.

This poor fellow answered incorrectly when presented with a fantastic idea by the queen and paid for it with his life. Hung upon his skeletal fingers is a warning to all others on how to answer correctly. He is another great creation by Beyond the Dark called What fairytales forget to mention: Correct answer. Another item in that great gacha collection at Twisted Summer Sale & hunt.

Upon the ground are lovely moving flowers made into a carpet by Dandelion Daydreams Factory. Called, "Where Dreams Begin", this flower carpet looks great inside or outside. (dandelion texture not included) This is another wonderful prize in the hunt at the Twisted Summer Sale & hunt

This gorgeous gown is When does evil begin, Mercy by Enrapturing Elegant Couture and part of the Innocent series. This includes lower gown which is mesh body friendly, the sleeves come in standard mesh sizes, and the bodice comes in system layers as well as an Omega applier. This is another fantastic exclusive at the Twisted Summer Sale & hunt, with several different versions/colors of this dress available.

It's My Party or Maybe Not

The young princess was so excited! Today would be the day that the suitors would be here to call, provided they passed the first screening by her father, the King. She was dressed in a pretty new gown, and long hair fell loosely down her back in the style of a maiden.

Unmasking A Cure Relay For Life Team (#38) presents the Third Annual Medieval Faire, running from May 19 though June 18, 2017. Beside the garden platform which she spent much of her time, was her favorite willow tree. Sometimes she would pretend to speak to the tree, confiding all her secret dreams to her dearest friend. Today, for the occasion, she gave Willow a place of honor, setting up a table and chairs so she could entertain her guests with a lovely cup of tea and conversation.

 She had the flaming red hair of her ancestors, the Welsh "Dragon" line that she descended from, and deep blue eyes the color of the seas. Fair skin which was flawless bespoke her beauty that few have ever looked upon, as she had grown up sheltered within her father's gardens. But! Today was the day she would meet with someone from the outside world, a world she couldn't wait to explore!

Blues. had this fantastic hair out for 50L Fridays called, Kamille. It is a long style with a ponytail gathered up at the top. Great for casual romantic times. )

Her ladies had taken extra special care in painting her long nails this morning to match the new dress she wore for this occasion. Split pinks with flowers to decorate them, adding the perfect feminine touch.

One of her ladies in waiting rushed out with a baby dragon, the favorite of the Princess, hoping to give her some comfort as her pretty bottom lip began to tremble with frustration. Damini, her baby lightening dragon snuggled into her arms and gazed about with those deep purple eyes.

She started to get really upset and with a sigh, settled down upon the pretty blanket she had spread out in the shade of the tree. It appeared that once again, there were going to be no suitors fit for her hand, as far as her father was concerned and another year would be spent here in the beautiful but lonely seaside gardens of the castle. So much care had been given to the dress she had commissioned from the seamstress, all the way to the imported laces and patterns within the cloth.

Of course, marking her wrist as was required by the King, her father, was an amulet about her wrist with a symbol for the sign of her birth and a pretty turquoise stone to pretty it up.

Around her neck and dangling from her ears,  sparkled the beautiful amethyst and silver jewelry hand chosen this morning to match the gown. It complimented the coloring of her delicate visage. All in all she was captivating.

But even the gentle princess had a dark side as she turned from the view of the others, a small but evil smile spread across her face. She had already began to plot and plan her escape to freedom, boy, wouldn't her daddy be surprised!

5 O'Clock and All Is Well

It was a quiet time of the day, when everyone was still out in the fields, and mother was home preparing the evening meal with the younger girls of the family. The sun reached in through the windows, and dust fairies danced about in her wake. A trunk of jewels and gold, sat to one side, touched ever so gently by the light's fingertips, and even as the shadows passed over the room in the corners, a soft glow could be seen from the beautiful crystal sitting upon the intricately carved table top. Everyone was excited, for soon the fair would begin, but this also meant a lot of time would be spent working fingers to the bone in preparation. Mama had baking to do, the harvest needed to be brought in from the field, the fattest hog had to be chosen and some of the sisters were even making new jewelry and embroidering designs upon lovingly sewn garments. The chain mail was being polished and the men spent evenings within, practicing their art. All but one, who had his head in the clouds, dreaming of winning the joust this year and of fair maidens giving him their favors for good luck.
