SWARM OF DECOR 3 Post 1- Halloween/Fall

Swarm of Decor has begun. This hunt featured some of the best designers of home and garden items. Each item is $7L and of high quality. The hunt runs from Oct. 3 - 24

Some of the great items you can find on the hunt are the Autumn Leaves Alphabet by
Hatter than Hell. They are copy so that you can use them to spell out whatever it is you would like to spell. Also includes the swag for them to hang from.

Also in the hunt are the cute Pumpkin Poufs which come in Halloween or Pumpkin. I liked both so used them both in my decorating.These are a creation by Myth and also only $7L.

The Happy Halloween Chalkboard is a creation by  Halloween Delights for the hunt. Perfect compliment to the other items I set down to show you

 Blade & Rain made this great Picnic Table for the Swarm of Decor hunt. A great item to place in the yard for those fall BBQs.

This amazing fence with the leaves, pumpkin, sign and rake is called Autumn Magic Display by it's creator, the talented The Artist Shed.

And De Baza has a hunt gift as well called the Ghostly Fireplace. With a ghost that appears and disappears randomly to give your guests a little fright.

~Laynieland~ made this great Pair of Halloween Lanterns for the hunt, I put them on the mantle of the fireplace and they looked great there.

A Happy Halloween Deco sign is a perfect compliment to the look I was seeking. It is a creation by Perfect Seduction for the hunt.

Dragon Magick Wares made this fantastic Drag-O-Lantern which is also in the hunt and only $7L like all the other items in this post, extraordinary aren't they?

And what would Halloween decorating be without some great pumpkins. These ones spell out Trick-or-Treat and come in white and orange. Created by the talented Hatter than Hell.

StoraxTree created this amazingly detailed Trick or Treat Gravestone. Complete with offerings for the deceased, it's great inside or outside the house.

Steampunk 1

While out for a drive the other day I noticed a Steampunk Festival along the side of the road. I decided to stop and have a look, Maybe,  just maybe I would find something interesting while there. Well, I came upon the "Test your strength" part and after a few minutes of the person there trying to get me to try it I succumbed to do just that. It was a bit funny. I could barely hold the giant hammer up and after a few misses completely, I dropped the hammer and fell to my knees.

I am wearing the Victoria Corset (applier for bra, mesh corset with texture change hud) and Velvet Boots (Only for Slink High in black & brown), by Viki for sale at the Steampunk Festival running now until September 30th. Both exclusives at the event.


Paired up with a Steampunk Skirt in brown from a gacha at Yasum, mesh and available in many colors, this one matched really well with my ensemble.

Breaking Bread with Blayke

After dressing for a night at home, while waiting for Gwennie to get here, I decided to set the small table we use for simple dinners. I waited and waited thinking about the smell of fresh baked bread filling the room with its enticing aroma. I set out some cookies and hot cocoa and sat there for a short time before I heard the garage door open. YES! she was finally home and my tummy was so ready for some snacks, I jumped up and made my way to the door where i ushered her in Talking a mile a minute right over to the table and pointed all happy like.

Visit to the Tea Room

 

 

I was so happy to see the Tea Room open today I just had to stop and sample some of the wares they had in stock It was so worth the wait in long lines and so enjoyable also. I kept stalling and stalling leaving until well after they had closed for the night but, I did get to try some of the more expensive items, right before they told me, "you been here for hours now, you go home" I chuckled as I walked out and heard the click from the lock on the door. Sheesh no sense of humor did they have

 This wonderful Confection Connection Counter by Mariposa Designs is a fantastic addition to your sim, home, store, whatever you wish. Relaxin at Home

After a long day outside in the sun it was time for this girl to relax, so tired from the garden I did not even have the strength to take my new hat off. I just collapsed in the chair and sat there for what seemed like eternity. It was only a few minutes before I gathered enough energy to move over to the new lounger over in the corner. I sat down and contemplated taking a nap. But of course the neighbors had their damn music up so loud things were shaking off the walls! Maybe I should go cut their power supply and have some me time for a bit.

At least I have this great, comfy chair, by Fairey Angel Creations, to relax in.
