Down the road there is a house, a bit rustic looking and perhaps a tad spooky. But, honestly, I never believed the rumors of a wicked witch living there...
Two lonely rocking chairs, though apparently still in good condition, rarely if ever have I noticed anyone sitting in them. But, sometimes you can hear the creak as they rock, probably gently pushed by the wind..
There's rumors spread about that on the inside of the house sits a strange creature which seems to be little more than a head with a tail and jagged razor-sharp teeth. Various decorative designs grace the floor and some of the walls as well..
An eerie red glow can sometimes be seen, perhaps the occupant simply likes red lights. Some of the neighborhood kids claim that there are symbols to be found in the furnishings, such as the rugs and pillows. And a strange little cat wanders about the estate, apparently well fed, though one has yet to spot the owner.
Others say there is a room of temptation, cakes and hot tea always ready to be served upon small tables. But, no where to sit and eat or even a hint as to where these goodies even come from. Who made them? And where are they?
