Preparations for a New Year's Feast

 Preparing for the family to gather to celebrate a new year is always a busy time for us. Even busier than Christmas! We have a feast to prepare, and if anyone knows our son, Dags, that means a LOT of food to be considered. I am taking a small break though while looking things over and sneaking myself a small treat of grapes.

This great table setting is the Magic Christmas Banquet Table by LiViD. It is an exclusive at the Winter's Hollow Dec 8-28. You have room for several people to sit and it has a menu for several different delectable dishes and quick clean up. 

 This time of year means great gifts as well, such as the lovely gloss lipstick shown in the insert by 7 Deadly s{K}ins. It was one of the many advent gifts at eBENTO. Sn@tch created the lovely Delilah Hair available in the Ombre pack as a hunt prize exclusive for Winter's Hollow. A cute bob style with long, wild and untamed bangs this comes in rigged and unrigged mesh.  Dark Passions created the lovely Winter Webs in either silver or gold (sold separately), as their exclusive. This is on sale during the event for 25% off and sold as a fatpack with appliers for Slink, Maitreya and Omega. It includes a texture hud of 9 choices to wear or mix and match. Also at the event is Indulge Temptation with their Let it Snow Earrings/Necklace sets. There are various huds to choose from with several different textures for metals and jewels to enjoy. They also have a great ring called, My Precious as their hunt prize!

Sn@tch also created the amazing Merrie Holiday Gown Set as an exclusive for Winter's Hollow. This set comes with system layers as well as Omega applier for the bustier and a mesh skirt in several fitmesh sizes including body sizes such as Slink, Belleza and Maitreya.The skirt comes with a 3 pattern texture change hud and the bustier comes in 20 different colors!

Fashiowl Poses created the great poses with props called, Grapes. This is an exclusive for the POSEVENT which opened on Dec 2. It includes props and 5 bento poses.

Beyond the Dark created the beautiful yet sorrowful Forgotten fireplaces: Toymaker. This comes with the toys, fireplace, wall art and knick knacks shown. Even the crow is included. Also to be found there is the Wolf Moon Frame with Hud Control created by {Candle and Cauldron}. This includes a Moon Phase Tracker, Texture Hud, and 3D Layer Effect Art. Spyralle also made a beautiful item for us. The Cathedral Candelabra shown here in Wrought Iron, also comes in Brushed Bronze and Brass. Touch to light the candles.

Goodbye 2016

With so many troubles, loses and heartache around the world and at home, I am so glad to see 2016 leave and look forward to a better year. Bring it on 2017 and good riddance to the old!

Wood Witch

 In the dark of the night she looks into the spellbook and begin to chant. The trunk of the tree wraps around itself as the night wraps itself around the witch. The chill air brushes along her skin like the touch of a hungry lover, but she barely notices while in her trance.
