Garden of Memories

 Sitting among the flowers, I take time in the morning air to enjoy the sun as it rises, spreading it's light over the garden of memories. Not many can see me hidden away in this tiny section of our forest, and that's just the way I like it. As long as one of my pups doesn't decide to come out for a morning snack! Can you find me?

There are so many wonderful things to see and enjoy at the Fantasy Faire 2018 right now, and this is barely a drop in the bucket of delights that await you. That's right, that amazing event that is held once a year to raise funds for the Relay for Life. With all of the amazing fantasy items and great entertainment, auctions, quests, etc! All items shown in the post are on sale at the event.

Lacrime dell'anima has some really pretty items out for us. And each of them are 50% off for the duration of the event.

Shown in the top picture is the Garden Stump Table - Fantasy Roses. This comes with 2 versions roses with and without lights and it includes 10 sit animations.
In the picture directly above is the Dream Log Bench - Fantasy Roses. It sits 2 avatars with 9 single animations for each, and 9 alone, as well as 16 cuddle animations.
 Shown in the picture below, is the Dream Wishing Well - Fantasy Roses which includes a 4 texture change hud for the water, 2 versions-with/without animations, resizer script, 10 single animations, and bird sounds on/off.

The lovely Round Wildflower Garden shown is a creation by Simply Shelby. It includes 4 copiable versions in multi(shown), Blue & Yellow, Pink & white, and yellow & orange. This is one of their many items on sale at the faire.

The Forest Keeper with Bird by Bad Katz, watches over all the creatures, great and small, of the forest in his gentle way. The rock and bird detach so you can set him up any way you would like.

Another great item from Simply Shelby is the Spring Flowers Gacha collection. One of the items from that collection is the Reindeer with hot pink flowers shown above, which is one of the rares. There are 8 common, 2 uncommon, and 6 rare items to win.

 LOVE created the lovely Wolf Garden Decor shown above. 2 sentinel wolves stand guard over the garden. There are 2 different versions available, both shown here.

Lilith's Den created the lovely  Magic Twirl Lights as their 2018 RFL item. These lights dance about adding a great mystical ambience to your fantasy setting. They are copiable so you can set as many as you wish out.

EED created a lovely Fairy Village as their contribution to the fair this year. One of the items from this lovely scene is the Colored BG Flowers shown above. There is So much to this set, that the best way to experience it is by going to their store HERE.

HarshLands also has some items out, such as their exclusive item, the FF 2018 Memorial Stone. This includes the plaque, shield, candles, FF sword and stone.

 Simply Shelby has another beautiful item shown here for us, the  Butterfly Tree comes in 2 versions, with/without meadow. Several butterflies and fairies enjoy time in the forest amidst a field of flowers.

The Dream Zen Temple - Fantasy Roses is another item by Lacrime dell'anima. It is resize scripted, the temple seats 3 avatars with 2 sits and 10 yoga animations. It also comes in a version without the yoga animations. The benches include 16 cuddle, 9 single sit for each and 9 alone animations. You can also turn the torches off or on by touch.

So, by now have you figured out where I am in the pictures? That's right! I'm the little blue creature with the big eyes. Also know as a Minkie, this avatar is a creation for Fantasy Faire 2018 by Titans. It includes shape, full body alpha, mesh avatar and also a hud for the tail animations. It is also a FREE GIFT!! You can pick it up at any of the landing spots at the faire.

Keeping me company are some new friends as well!
Lilith's Den created the colorful beetle beside me as part of their Oubliette Beetles gacha collection. They are rezzable, attachable, and resizeable. There are 14 different colors and combinations to be won!
A couple more items from Bad Katz are the Mossy Tortoise
and Sitting Fairy 3. Both are great additions to anyone's garden.
 
Global Nomads created the Now she flies Memorial Stone as part of their Memorial Stone gacha collection. One of several great sayings to reflect your memory of a loved one or ones.

Chasing the Fairy

 I ran out of the house because I could hear soft giggling in the woods. They all said to beware,for it meant the fae were out to play. But that was the entire point! My favorite little fairy was near and I was going to join her for some magical times within the sparkling lights during the twilight hours before night fell. A magical time that very few were allowed to enjoy, time was meaningless in their realm but I danced with happiness, there was no where I would rather be. 

The lamp with mysterious origins glowed ethereally beneath the light of the moon as she shined her light down upon her magical children. Crossing the veil only during certain times of year, I had so missed them while they were away! One in particular, a child like fae creature who happened to be my favorite childhood friend, ran out to greet me. With a squeal, I gathered her into a big hug and greeted the others with a huge smile.

Unmasking A Cure Relay For Life Team (#38) presents the Third Annual Medieval Faire, running from May 19 though June 18, 2017. The Faire, similar to a real world “Ren Faire”, offers medieval tournaments in jousting, sword play, archery, horse racing, chess, Slurbbage, all day Trivia. There are over 80 merchants throughout the Faire grounds; village, travelers’ camp and Gotya garden. All of them supporting Relay For Life with items that will be sold for a 100% donation. On the entertainment front, we have ChangHigh Sisters, dozens of live performers and  DJs are all donating their time and talents to Relay For Life. Don’t miss this exciting month-long event; try your hand at all the sports, find that perfect outfit or decor item, or enjoy live musicians and dj sets!

Picking her up, we spun around and she laughed as I tipped her upside down with the other fairies looking on with amusement. I felt young again and carefree, nothing could stop us now while chasing our dreams!

(Something New created the adorable pose called, Hanging Around. It is a single pose ball for child and adult and was also a group gift! Every month they come out with a new group gift pose and they are fantastic!)

We paused to listen to the elder fairies spin a tale of woe and hope for all creatures large and small. Standing reverently with our hands folded, not even the flutter of a wing could be heard. Aerwen looked so pretty in her new spring dress, she even had a matching doll to bring along and show me. I was too big for dolls, I realized, but I smiled warmly and gave it a kiss on the brow.

If I didn't know how old she could be, though only the fairies knew for sure, I would swear my little friend was yet a child. But here she was, a fairy princess, standing proud with her wand and dolly. In their world, time passes by much slower than in ours, and so our hundreds of years could mean but a year to them. It was no wonder I had aged in my human body faster than she had in her fae.

The eyes I am wearing are the IKON Triumph Eyes in Armor. They include 5 sizes of both system and mesh eyes with a placement hud as well.

Tameless Hair has a new hair release called Devany. This hair comes in two large texture packs, natural, or fantasy. It also includes Omega applier hairbases! This is an exclusive at Darkness Monthly June 5-30th.

I am wearing a pair of knee high socks by You Got The Look. These come in system layers as well as appliers for Belleza, Maitreya, Eve and Slink. They have 3 color options as well. Another great item found at the UAC Medieval Fair.

The pretty shoes that I am wearing are called Bobbie Ballerina Black for Slink flat feet by Wiccan Wears. These are a prize in the World At Your Feet Hunt 2 June 1-30.

The Lady of the Estate

It was a beautiful day at Lady Sionnach's seaside estate. The harvest of grains had been gathered into simple yet well made pots and looked fantastic, ready for market. She even received a new dress from the town seamstress, which she hurried to put on. It was beautiful, with hues of rich blue and gold. She felt so wonderful, that she even had a servant gather her some flowers to make a lovely circlet to wear upon her head.

 The home she lived in was simple yet elegant in it's design. An arbor building, which could also be used as a wonderful garden. She would come here to her special place when the clouds of her home cities became too thick and rain would drizzle down. Here, where the sun was constant, she could enjoy herself a bit and refresh her mind before returning to the duties of court.

Simple yet elegant furnishings decorated the home, a simple iron sofa with well crafted cushions to sit upon and a matching table where she relaxed and enjoyed her meals.

She had loved once, deeply, and the helm of her fallen warrior sat reverently upon the table. Woah to any who dared to touch it, for the Lady's temper was quick and fierce when it involved a loved one or memories of them.

In the single bedroom of the building, she had placed a bed which matched the couch. Also made with beautiful decorative ironwork, the bedding was in soft hues, and a canopy blocked out the rays of the run when she wanted to sleep in a bit. Bit, fluffy pillows filled with goose down and a coverlet embroidered with talented hands, always helped her sleep well.

 Awaiting shipment to market were the well made pots full of grains. They would bring in a rich bounty to her estate funds, something many of the nobles looked upon in envy. Even a few plotting to marry the Lady and thus assume her estate. But she would have none of it, she would decide when she would marry again and until then, the nobles were out of luck. The harder they tried, the more she felt disdain for them.

The nobles were not just after her estate (well some of them weren't), but tales of her beauty traveled across the land. With soft, flawless pale skin kissed by her time in the sun, soft pouty lips, and well rounded face. She was the talk of the men and envy of the women. Many adored her and just as many despised her.

 Some called her a sorceress, others knew her as a shrewd and talented business woman. But what fed the rumors the most were her dazzling eyes in two different hues. With an uncommon color in one, the rumor mongers were sure she had been touched by magic.

 She absolutely loved the new dress, with beautiful designs embroidered into the cloth, and a lovely gather across the top of her thighs. The circlet of peony roses upon her head.  She felt fantastic and it showed as she danced about under the sun's rays.

 Complimenting the look is the Lesley pose set by .:Joplino:. made exclusively for the Suicide Dollz May 14-26. This pose set comes with 5 single animations + mirrors.

And the beautiful Rapunzel Hair which comes with an add on option and flowers for the hair. Created by NSP and on sale at Enchantment's Rapunzel round until May 31.)

 Worn about her neck was a hint of what the rumors could also be fed by. A gift from an old woman upon the death of her knight. This bottle of mana hung upon a leather string about her slender neck. To be opened only in a time of dire need, it remained safely and cherished upon her person.

Nails filed into sharp claws for her own protection, were decorated with lovely designs by a talented artist within the town. Not a common sight in these times, they also drew interest by the rumor mongers.

A unique chandelier decorated her home, with wax candles flickering their yellow light in the house. This special fixture had been created by her father and passed down to each son, until reaching her, the only daughter. Each of the swords of a family member added when they passed onto the next realm. Her own beloved's sword added amongst them.

A picture framed rests upon the wall of her summer home, depicting the home she shared with her beloved. In a different time, a fairytale romance that ended with the stab of a pike. But the memories of a happier time were remembered when she looked at it, so she insisted it was wherever she was in residence at the time.
