Sleepless In Seattle

Sometimes it is just good to sit at home and relax. Listening to the dog as he snores in his sleep and work on updating my blog posts with pencil and pad in hand. I love my new furniture, it is in lovely neutral colors and perfectly fit the ambiance of the room.

Pictured are some great furnishings including the Simple Elegance Mesh Braided Compass Rug by Storax Tree. This rug is a hunt prize in the June Effects Hunt June 1-29. Also shown is another hunt gift by Storax Tree, the Weathered Teapot Planter Sunflowers is a prize in the Groovy Colors Hunt June 1-30.




On sale for Super Sales Weekend is the Seattle Bistro Stuffed Chair and Loveseat by Storax Tree. These are sold separately but are of course perfect together.
The whimsical Bibliophile Table by Wimey added to the great look I am enjoying. A stack of books made into a table will please any of those bookworms in your life.

Sitting on the table is a lovely tea service set by Cleo Design. It includes the pot, 2 cups and tray. These can be found at their main store.

Also shown is the Tsutsuji vase by Roiro which was one of the Relay For Life items at the Home & Garden Expo. The expo is now closed until next year and the vase is no longer available, but they have a lot of other beautiful vases and flowers to see at their main store.

On the wall I have two great pictures by VersaTile a brand by Hannah Daviau. Wings of Imagination Piglet and Ducky were also items exclusive to the Home & Garden expo to raise funds for Relay for Life. The expo is now closed but you can find other great items at her main store, DaneMarkz.

The very sleepy dog is one of Scruffy Shepherds gacha collection by JIAN.

7 Deadly s[K]ins created the gorgeous Hawai skin. They include The Diamond shoes which fit Maitreya, Slink and Belleza feet, the adorable halter top called Early Blooms, which is available in several color choices, and pants that you can match up as well or mix a bit called, late Bloomer, also available in several color choices.

raises money for Relay For Life of Second Life (RFL of SL). Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraising event, and RFL of SL is one of its virtual counterparts. You can find more information about RFL of SL at

Expo exhibitors are required to have two 100% donation items at the Expo. These items must be new and exclusive to the Expo for the duration of the event.

100% of registration fees, sponsorship fees and donation items are paid to Relay For Life of Second Life. 50% of the proceeds from the gachas will be paid to RFL and 100% of the 10L hunt items.

A beautiful yard begins with beautiful foliage and these flowerbeds by Exquisite Eye Decorations, are perfect for this purpose. There are three versions shown here, LILAC&LAVENDER, MIXED FLOWERS, and BIRCH&HYDRENGEA. All are items on sale at the Home & Garden Expo and their shop can be found HERE

Darkmatter has a few items also at the Home & Garden expo, such as this great Lattice Corner, which is one of the hunt prizes!. Verocity also has some fantastic items for us that went well with the lattice, such as the Wooden Bench which comes unscripted or with poses, and the medieval chair in 2 sizes, unscripted and scripted with poses. A gacha item is the RFL Ribbon Statue in Light Blue by Meeroos.

A great gacha item by Toys Design is this Garden Cuddle Place . There are 6 commons and 1 rare to win. The commons come with a small cuddlemenu (13 animations) and the rare one have 26  animations for cuddles and kisses!  The gacha rows can be found HERE

Huntress made this fantastic  Little Greenhouse V1 which working gate and doors, and it even has a vegetable garden and potted plants! Their expo shop is located HERE

Cleo Design designed this beautiful Fountain which has animated water and sound, plus 9 single sit animations & 2 couple chat animations. The birds are sold separately. They also created the great  painted Stones with bamboo Plant . Both of these items would look great in anyone's yard. You can find them HERE at the expo

The Front Room- RFL Home and Garden Expo Post

 As said in my previous post, we are touring the house to show you great items by some of the talented designers at the RFL Home & Garden Expo. When we enter the hall, you will see this great food butler,  by Cleo Design, complete and ready for visitors with wine and cheese, Go ahead and help yourselves to a treat. Down the hall, you can see there is another room, this one is at the front of the house and the windows face to the side and front yards. In the room there is a nice wood burning stove, and with a click on the menu, a fire burns within, of course, if it's too hot, it can be turned off the same way. I really like the back to the stove and how the stove nests inside it with the log pile and fireplace tools. Also in the room there are decorative boxes, a planter, and two chairs, each with decorative pillows and a throw, they are both well crafted and add to the warm ambiance of the room. These itetms are all by Cleo Design and part of the Hunt Item at the RFL Home & Garden Expo! Below, I have listed the items that come in the package. Cleo Designs is located on Hope 9 at the event. The Living Room- RFL Home & Garden Expo Post

Wow, do I have a lot to show you in this post. More fantastic finds from the Home & Garden Expo.  We are going to start upstairs in the loft bedroom. Here, I placed the modest bedroom set by Dekute Dekore. This is a donation item, 100% of the proceeds going to Relay for Life. All pieces of the set have a texture change hud so you can fit it to your own preference. The bed has couple as well as single animations, and is a PG bed. The lamp turns on and off when you click on it to illuminate the area for a great romantic feel.

Next we are going to head downstairs to the living room, where I have placed a furniture set by True North Designs. This is a new release making it's debut at the fair at a special introductory price of 550L. This set comes complete with a two seater divan, arm chair, fish wall mosaic, hexagonal side table, low cabinet, table lamp and palm plant. All pieces are copyable and you can resize the mosaic to fit your preference.

Leading from the living room there is a door which we will now enter so I can show you the next room. In this room we have an architect set by Cleo Design. This set includes ceiling lights, crate storage shelves with files and books ( I really want to do this on my wall in real life), desk, stool and architect tools, a computer side desk with tower, keyboard, wireless mouse, monitor, stapler and even coffee! The stool has drafting animations, and the lights turn on/off by touch, 

To the side of the room is a really adorable pallet couch set. It comes complete with couch, pallet table and roses in a planter. The couch has 22 single male/female animations and 13 couple cuddle,kiss animations. It also will provide props with certain animations. The blanket comes with texture change menu so you can fit as needed to your personal preferences.

Of course, I had to make sure that while we are busy working here at the drafting table, that the kids have something to do as well. So to the side, I have the Happy Garden Coloring Table by SugaBees, which comes with a texture change menu, ability to choose which coloring book you wish to "color" in, coloring animations and crayon props to hold in your hand.

Also, by Sugabees, we have some really cute Piggy banks to remind us to save our pennies. One has a purple own on it and the other a balloon girl. And of course, Aerwen insisted on bringing in her new Narwhal bounce toy also by Sugabees.
