I Will Remember Her

“People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you figure out which one it is, you will know what to do for each person.” – Michelle Ventor

A good person earned their angel wings recently and moved on to the other side. Imajica was a sweet soul who was there for anyone that needed her. I never heard a negative word from her lips, she was always upbeat and kind, even within days of her death. Many of us were shocked when we got the news but they do say the best die young. And she was one of the best of us. I didn't know her as well as some, but I knew her enough to know she was a beautiful soul and will be terribly missed.

She's passed on now but will be remembered as strong, loving, kitten, gorgeous, funny, flawless, courageous, beautiful, and of course as an angel. R.I.P. Miss Imajica The new group gift for March is up for you. A cute shiny top with 9 word prints in 2 colors. Why I Relay - Learn to Dance in the Rain

Last year I lost someone very dear to me, my adopted Mom. She was the strongest woman I knew and always put on a smile and enjoyed life to the fullest. From traveling around the world, singing with the choir, playing piano, and exploring near and wide. She was a literal gypsy at heart who finally took the last amazing journey of her life...beyond. She never complained throughout her battles with cancer..she bravely fought and defeated it three times. But, it would be the first cancer she had that would come back to claim her. Thyroid cancer, even though her thyroid had been removed many years before, somehow a cell managed to grow and invade her body.

Mother taught us to dance in the rain, never to let sorrow drag us down for too long. To greet each new day with a smile and know it was a whole new chapter to be written in our life. So, it's for her that I relay, that I hope another will benefit from the research the American Cancer Society and other great scientists are working on to find a cure for all of us. RIP Mom, your legacy will live on.

"Instead of seeking shelter from the cloudbursts of stress and strain, consider an alternative approach that allows you to flourish in a stormy weather— indeed, to dance in the rain. "

-Jerome T. Murphy
