Reading the Sunday Evening Post

Sometimes it is just great to sit back in a comfortable chair and relax. Reading a newspaper and listening to some soft music in the background before starting the day. No television news, just simply the dogs, newspaper and I enjoying the rising sun.

~Zo Awesum~ created the lovely pose prop with pose called the Sunday Evening Post as an exclusive at The Old Fair May 4-25. This includes the chair and newpaper along with a single pose.

The dogs shown in the picture are from the Tooldog[naked set] by Sau Meshworks. There's a set of three dogs in various poses.

 {Black Rose Designs} designed the lovely Gaia outfit with a 10 color hud included for both parts to make your own combinations. This cute pair of shorts and frilly top comes in mesh sizes for Maitreya, Belleza, Slink and can be found on sale at The Old Fair May 4-25.

The cute pigtail styled hair is a creation by Truth Hair called, Kyoko. It comes in several choice hair color packs and includes a texture change hud for the hairbands.

  Inkheart designed these great  Uran Eyes in Deep Sea for the Peace by Peace hunt May 1-31st. They include 4 sizes for system, mesh, Omega and Genesis eyes.

Dark Passions - Koffin Nails designed the great summer nail art called, Sand Script. Available for Slink, Maitreya and Omega, as well as a fatpack, there is a 5 texture pallet to mix and match as you please. You can find this on sale at Fashion Bloc May 1-15 and afterwards at regular price in the main store.

N-core has put out some Lucky Boards for a week and one of the prizes are these Knotted "Chocolate" for High Feet (Rigged Mesh) shoes.

[Kikay] created the lovely stand up pose set called, Lolita. This set includes rezzable pose balls as well as pose hud with 6 poses total and can be found exclusively at The Old Fair May 4-25

DIY Decorating

In an older part of the house, we decided we would like to decorate with upcycled materials, such as pallets and stuff. And after several failed attempts, we had to admit defeat and call in some help. Luckily, there was a very talented bunch of designers to be found at The Old Fair May 4-25.

 Candy Crunchers created the fantastic Foyo Gacha Set which includes such prizes as the Futon chair, Futon couch (rare), Blocks decor, Frames, Ladder, Shelf, and Table. The furniture had the great rustic pallet look to it we were seeking to add to the charm of our older room. We were even tickled to find some great exclusive wall art by Nevrose. The Tomb Heart Text comes in several versions, brown, dark, white, gold, magic, pink and silver. It was difficult at first to decide, but we finally settled upon the brown and are quite please on how it blended into the rest of the decor. 

Another great item found at The Old Fair , that added some great accents to our decor were the Nostalgia vintage plates by Bliensen + MaiTai with 3 versions included. We placed these strategically on the pallet table and were much pleased with the results.

And for a final whimsical touch, we added this great [ID] hollywood star by deviant & bizarre which is can be personalized to include your own name! Another great item you can find at The Old Fair May 4-25

Preparing For A Fight

 

 A very important person lies in rest here, as the elves begin to gather for war, one elf in particular does not seem to be worried much and takes a few moments to enjoy the scenery of their home.

Noble Creations created the Sacred Tomb shown in the Dark with Purplish Leaves version. It  is also available in Light versions with Green Leaves or No leaves. This has a resizer script and is 10 Li. An exclusive at The Old Fair 4-25th May

 

Also created by Noble Creations is this amazing Fantasy Wooden Arch which contains a resizer script to better fit it to your landscaping needs. It is 4 Li and another exclusive at The Old Fair

 

KiX designed the lovely Port Mulgrave Bench & Shelter which is available in PG and Adult versions. It contains a texture change menu for  Mossy, Painted, or Bleached wood. The bench is 5 Li and the shelter is 2 Li. These can also be found at The Old Fair

Verocity created two great weapons for us. There is the Convergence Blade and the Serpents Kiss. Both come with a blade for the right hand and one for the left. Or you can do as I have done and wear one of each for a lethal mix. These are also exclusives at The Old Fair

I have on the Nove mesh skin by 7 Deadly s{K}ins. This skin includes Omega face appliers based on the LAQ Trinity mesh head. ( I am wearing it with the Catwa Catya head, so you can see that it can be worn on any Omega friendly head. I am also wearing the Maitreya Lara body). There are two separate skin boxes to choose from containing different tones. V1 with the lighter tones And then V2 with the darker/tanned tones. (I am wearing Pineapple from the V2 box).  Also included is a total body Omega applier in the plain version.  These skin boxes are exclusive for The Dark Style Fair May 1-22. My ears are creations by .:Soul:. called,  Elven Ear Tribal L V2. It comes with a hud for the accessories as well as one for the skintinting.

  

CNZ created these Armor Bracelets and come with a texture hud with normal and rusty options with brown, black, dark brown. These are also resizeable. These can be found exclusively at The Old Fair.

Indulge Temptation designed the Celtic Tattoo as an exclusive for The Old Fair. This package contains 3 (black, tan & tintable white) with10 tattoo designs. A lovely spring day in the garden made even lovelier with a pretty floral print dress to welcome in sunnier days.

The Old Fair makes it's debut May 4-25, 2017 and there are many great creators who are participating. Such as irrISIStible, who created the lovely Spring Garden Mesh Outfit- Long Version with shoes. This comes with system layers, as well as Omega, Belleza and Maitreya appliers for the body suit. The skirt is prim and the shoes are unrigged mesh so can be adjusted to fit your body.
