Breast cancer is the second most common kind of cancer in women. About 1 in 8 women born today in the United States will get breast cancer at some point.

The good news is that most women can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early. A mammogram – the screening test for breast cancer – can help find breast cancer early when it’s easier to treat.

Rock Your Rack by Models Giving Back Sept 30- Oct 14, is a fundraising event created by Models Giving Back in the virtual world Second Life to support the real world efforts of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.  www.nationalbreastcancer.org.  They provide mammograms to any in need as well as current and up-to-date information for those newly diagnosed with Breast Cancer and related diseases.  This two week virtual event will raise USD for the cause.

Many talented people of all walks of life have gathered together to help raise funds for this cause. They have designers with exclusives, hunt items and other great donation items, they have DJs, fashion shows and even auctions.  

One of these amazing designers is Black Rose Designs, with the Quinn outfit. This pack contains the Quinn Halter and Skirt that come in sizes for Classic mesh as well as Tonic, Maitreya, Slink, Belleza, and TMP. It has a great texture change hud of several colors with options of plain or patterned material. 

!!Firelight!! is another of the wonderful designers at Rock Your Rack, with their exclusive Rack Rocker Ponytail which gives 100% of the sale to the charity. The Ponytail is rigged mesh but the bangs are unrigged mesh so you can resize and position as desired. It comes with a hud with 6 colors.. 5 are advertised and one is a surprise bonus color for donating.

 7 Deadly s[K]ins designed this lovely skin named, Serika. This Omega applier skin is based on the Laqroki mesh heads, but can be worn with any that are use Omega. It includes 6 skin tones and there are two different boxes to choose from with different versions of the skin. Also available is a shape with eyebrow shaper.  I am wearing the skin in the pineapple tone.

Inevitable Madness has created a new product for the Gotham City charity event for Parkinson's Disease October 1st - 31st ! Image Essentials created the fantastic Survivor set for Square 1 7th October -30th . It is 5 wearable Breast Cancer Awareness ribbons each with its own pose including mirror poses.
