Trust Between the Predator and Her Prey

You can feel the warmth and time of peace that the holidays bring to our lives this time of year, when looking upon the 'wolf' surrounded by many animals who would usually be her prey. Each coming up to nuzzle against a bare palm, staying close and not a fight to be had. This is what this magical morning brought to me while visiting the lands of the fabled Santa Clause. Whether real or not, the spirit of this being affects all. Dressed in a pair of jeans, boots and a hoodie with earmuffs to keep my ears warm, I had never expected this when I paused to rest against a log on the snow covered ground.
